St. Gabriel the Archangel School is seeking an elementary classroom 4th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Partnering with parents in their role as primary educators, St. Gabriel the Archangel School extends the mission of the Church in forming true disciples of Jesus Christ. Through a Catholic Classical Liberal Arts education centered on Christ, we provide an integrated approach fostering a love for truth, beauty, and goodness. We seek to instill a natural desire for wisdom and virtue in all scholars.
The teacher serves the mission of the Catholic Church by planning, guiding, and evaluating the learning process of the scholars within the framework of the school’s philosophy, organization, and curriculum. The teacher provides the appropriate learning atmosphere and activities designed to maximize student competencies and skills for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. The teacher has decision making responsibilities in keeping with school policies and the Diocesan Schools Administrative Manual.
The ideal candidate would have experience teaching elementary school and possess knowledge of Catholic Liberal Arts teaching. Current Missouri teaching certification is preferred, but an ability to acquire certification within three years of employment is acceptable. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
