Position: Middle School LatinTeacher (part-time)

St. Charles is currently seeking a Middle School Latin Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The candidate will ideally have experience teaching Ecclesiastical Latin, demonstrate excellent organization, communication, and classroom management skills, and the ability to collaborate with administration and teaching staff. The candidate should possess an appropriate bachelor’s degree and WA state teaching certification (or ability to obtain prior to start of school).  The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic and have a working knowledge of Catholic Classical education.

This position will be part-time (.2 FTE), beginning August 26, 2025, and may include attendance to some staff meetings and or teacher in-services.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary – $8,612 – $15,280 Employees will receive wages depending on hours. Offered wage is based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience, degrees and certifications.

Part-time positions receive sick leave and a 403(b) voluntary retirement plan.
