Position: Middle School Choir Teacher (part-time)
St. Charles is currently seeking a Middle School Choir Teacher. The candidate will ideally have music teaching experience, demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with school administration and pastor to organize and carry out liturgical music during school Mass. The candidate should possess an appropriate bachelor’s degree and WA state teaching certification (or ability to obtain prior to start of school). The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic and have basic knowledge of Ecclesiastical Latin.
This position will be part-time (.2 FTE), beginning August 21, 2024, and may include some evening and weekend events.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary – $8321.8 – $14,763 Employees will receive wages depending on hours. Offered wage is based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
· Part-time positions receive sick leave and a 403(b) voluntary retirement plan.
