Overview:

St. Andrew Classical Catholic School seeks a dedicated and passionate teacher (Prek-12th Grade) to join our vibrant educational community. Our mission is to cultivate the intellectual and spiritual growth of our students through a classical curriculum rooted in Catholic values. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love of learning and nurturing the faith development of each student.

 

Responsibilities:

Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the classical curriculum, ensuring alignment with Catholic teachings.
Classroom Management: Create a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and academic excellence.
Assessment: Evaluate student progress through a variety of assessment methods, providing feedback to students and parents.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to support school-wide initiatives and enhance student learning.
Faith Integration: Incorporate Catholic values and teachings into daily lessons and classroom activities.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and school events.
Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in school events, activities, and committees to foster a strong school community.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Classics or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Valid teaching certification for the state of Montana or exemption through discussion with Head of School.
Strong understanding of classical education principles and Catholic doctrine.
Previous teaching experience preferred, particularly in a Catholic or classical school setting. New college graduates are encouraged to apply.  Experience can come in many ways!
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to the spiritual development of students.
