Job Summary:
St. Raymond is seeking a passionate and experienced Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
Lead Teacher to join our early childhood team. The TK Lead Teacher plays a vital role in
nurturing the growth, development, and foundational skills of our youngest learners in a
faith-based, nurturing, and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
● Design and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that supports academic,
social-emotional, and spiritual development
● Foster a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom
environment
● Provide direct instruction in early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor
development
● Observe and assess student progress, maintaining documentation to inform
instruction and parent communication
● Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, newsletters, and other
school platforms
● Collaborate with instructional aides, fellow faculty, and administration to support
each child’s success
● Uphold and model the values and mission of St. Raymond
● Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events
● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
● Support the faith-based identity of the school through classroom activities and
community involvement
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
● Current California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (or in progress) preferred
● Minimum 2 years of experience in a preschool, TK, or early elementary setting
● Strong understanding of early childhood development and hands-on learning
strategies
● Excellent communication and classroom management skills
● Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered learning
environment
Hours & Schedule:
● Full-time position aligned with the academic school year calendar
● Additional hours may be required for meetings, events, or school-wide activities
Compensation:
Compensation is dependent on education and experience, ranging from $24.64 to
$33.96 per hour.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is approximately $44,236 to $60,282,
based on a 180-day school year schedule.

Schedule:
● School Year: 180 days, from August 1st to early June
● Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
