We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Extended Care Program Director to lead,
develop, and oversee the operations of our after care program. The ideal candidate will have a
passion for supporting individuals or families in need of care after services, ensuring that they
receive the necessary resources, guidance, and support during their transition. The Extended
Care Program Director will be responsible for managing staff, developing after care activities,
ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive and supportive
environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop, implement, and manage after care services for program participants,
ensuring each individual receives appropriate follow-up care tailored to their needs.
● Oversee the daily operations of the after care program, including staffing, scheduling,
and creating activity plans for the students.
● Supervise and provide support to program staff.
● Work closely with participants, families, and community partners to ensure effective
communication.
● Maintain up-to-date records of all participants (Emergency Contact Binder and
Brightwheel information)
● Take Extended Care attendance.
● Ensure that the program complies with all applicable local, state, and federal
regulations, as well as organizational policies.
● Buy and Prepare snacks for the students. You will be reimbursed for buying snacks
● Update play equipment throughout the school year
● Keep track of monthly attendance.
● Create Excel sheet for monthly invoice to share with FACTS tuition management
Qualifications:
● Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively, with strong interpersonal and
communication skills.
● Ability to develop, implement, and assess programs and services with a focus on
improving outcomes.
● Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
● Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families.
● Experience with program budgeting and resource management.
Compensation:
$30 per hour; benefits eligible
