Saint Paul Catholic Classical School seeks a few dynamic people to fulfill the position on the After School (AfterCare) Program Staff serving all families and students in all grade levels for the 2024-2025 school year. Saint Paul Catholic Classical School is a Catholic, classical liberal arts school serving students in grades PK3-8th grade. Saint Paul Catholic Classical School’s mission extends the mission of the church by accompanying parents on their journey as primary educators to unlock the wonders of God’s creation through a comprehensive, faith-based, classical education. In communion with the Catholic Church, we foster awareness of each child’s dignity as created in the image and likeness of God. We strive to form the whole person, which enables each child to seek truth, goodness, and beauty in all things and to grow and live as an instrument of God’s love Our Classical Liberal Arts curriculum places Christ at the center of all things by instilling virtue and wisdom in each student.

We are seeking a candidate for the AfterCare Program staff., specifically a Director and Program Staff. Candidates should possess a joy for working with young students, have a warm and welcoming attitude, and work well others including the AfterCare Program Director. Ideally, the candidate will have an appreciation for a classical liberal arts education. The candidate must be able to receive instruction and follow through on tasks and be willing to participate in various training courses including disciple and classroom management strategies.

The AfterCare Program position includes picking up students from dismissal and walking them to the AfterCare Program, supervising snack time, and supervising students during homework and/or playtime.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and some experience with children is required. The Director will have at least an Associate Degree or equivalent hours in Child Development or Education. Must be able to be Safe Environment trained and cleared.

 

 

Qualifications:

·         minimum high school degree

·         18 years of age

·         be willing to work under 30 hrs a week

·         committed to embracing and fulfilling the school’s mission and vision;

·         ability to work 5 days a week from 3:15pm to 6:00pm, with certain exceptions including No AfterCare days and Early Release Days that begin at 12:30pm
