The school community is seeking a part-time Learning Resource teacher (2025-2026).

Qualifications and job description:
This is a part-time, non-exempt position.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (required)
● Valid California teaching credential (Multiple Subject or Education Specialist preferred)
● Certification in Special Education or Resource Specialist Program (RSP) credential strongly
preferred
Experience
● Minimum 2 years teaching experience, ideally in a small group or intervention setting
● Experience providing both push-in (in-class) and pull-out (small group) academic support
● Familiarity with working in Catholic school settings and alignment with Catholic values (preferred)
● Experience supporting students with IEPs, 504 Plans, or informal accommodation plans
Skills & Competencies
● Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and
Response to Intervention (RTI)
● Ability to plan and deliver targeted academic interventions in reading, writing, and math across
TK–8 grades
● Skilled in working within the classroom environment (push-in) as well as leading focused
intervention sessions (pull-out)
● Proficient in data collection, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers and families
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, and staff
● Ability to manage schedules and caseloads across multiple grade levels and classrooms
● Familiarity with tools such as Lexia, ST Math, STAR assessments, or similar program
Salary: $25-$30 per hour
