Saint Frances Cabrini School Position Description

Position Title: 4th Grade Teacher
Compensation: Based on annual Archdiocesan personnel survey and personnel
committee recommendation
Status: full time, exempt
Department: Grade School
Primary Function of This Position:
The teacher will teach using Archdiocesan Learning Standards to educate our students in a loving and nurturing way. The teacher will guide students toward God on their journey to Heaven.
Major Responsibilities and Regular Activities:
Inspire parents, students and colleagues with the joy’s of the Catholic faith
Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
Create and implement lesson plans that are fun faith filled and educational for the students
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
Deliver reports on potential concerns about students as to management as needed
Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students
Building students knowledge of Christ in the Catholic tradition
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Archdiocesan of Milwaukee Teaching Standards
Must hold a bachelors degree and willing to obtain 12 credits of teaching course work or have a WI Teaching Licence
Supervision: This position reports to the principal.
This position supervises none.
