creative, and dedicated Part-Time Spanish Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic faculty
team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Spanish educator to teach Spanish language and culture to
students in grades K-8. The position involves teaching Spanish twice weekly to students in
grades 4-8, with a focus on vocabulary development, grammar fundamentals, and
conversational skills. Students in grades K-3 will focus on an introduction to Spanish through
songs, games, and cultural exploration.
The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a love for language instruction to the
classroom, along with a desire to nurture students’ curiosity about world cultures. As a Spanish
teacher at St. Charles School, you will play an essential role in broadening students’
perspectives and enhancing their communication skills while supporting the values of a Catholic
education.
Responsibilities:
● Teach Spanish to students in grades K–8, with differentiated instruction for primary and
middle grades.
● Develop and implement interactive, engaging lessons that foster enthusiasm for
language learning.
● Encourage cross-cultural understanding and appreciation through classroom activities.
● Assess student progress and provide feedback that supports growth and improvement.
● Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support school-wide language learning
goals.
● Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and
participation.
● Uphold and model the mission and values of St. Charles School.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
● Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native proficiency).
● Valid teaching certification and teaching experience preferred.
● Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
● Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
● Ability to create a joyful and inclusive learning environment.
● Familiarity with integrating technology into language instruction.
● A commitment to Catholic education and the holistic development of students.
● A love of teaching, a sense of humor, and a passion for language and culture.

Hourly Rate: $20-$30/hour
