Job Description
Saint Agnes School is seeking a Director for its Lower School, grades Preschool-6, including approximately 350 girls and boys around 25 faculty members. The Director is afforded considerable autonomy in leading the Lower School while reporting directly to the Headmaster and serving as a member of the Headmaster’s administrative leadership team. The new Director will be expected to set a positive tone of mutual respect, cooperation, faith, and attention to individual needs and exhibit a genuine desire to join a close-knit group of passionate educators. Preferred candidates will possess elementary teaching, admissions, administrative, and curriculum development experience, an advanced degree, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and an eagerness to embrace Saint Agnes’s mission and Philosophy of Education. Saint Agnes is a member of the Cardinal Newman Society and accredited by Cognia that is located in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul.
Qualifications
BA in education or related field
Advanced degree preferred
Active, practicing Catholic
Teaching experience in a Catholic elementary school required
Administrative experience in a Catholic elementary school preferred
