Saint Agnes School is now accepting applications for a full-time JH/HS Mathematics Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The position’s primary duty is the teaching of Mathematics to students ranging from Grades 7-12. Daily duties include lesson planning and delivery, grading student work, maintaining accurate records, communicating with parents, student supervision, and collaborating with colleagues. Course possibilities range from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. The actual assignment and terms will be dependent on successful candidate’s strengths and experience combined with the school’s needs.
Saint Agnes is seeking a highly motivated individual who is a practicing Catholic who can offer a daily and positive witness of his/her faith. Desired candidates also have a passion for educating and forming Christian youth, as well as possess an interest in collaborating with other instructors. Important characteristics include a focus on student learning, classroom management skills, ability to collaborate on a team, ability to integrate technology into instruction, and competence in the subject areas taught. Saint Agnes seeks teachers who possess a love of learning, devotion to the school’s mission and philosophy, and a desire to support the intellectual and spiritual development of each student.
Qualifications
Practicing Catholic – preferred, but not required
Bachelor of Arts degree – required
Teaching License – preferred, but not required
Experience – preferred, but not required
Other Desired Qualifications:
Polished and effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to develop and deliver effective lesson plans
Ability to manage well a classroom environment
Ability to relate well with students
