Sacred Heart Academy, a private classical Catholic school serving families in the Durham region and eastern Greater Toronto Area, is entering an exciting new chapter in its mission to form students in faith, virtue, and wisdom. As we complete our second academic year, we give thanks for the many graces and achievements the Lord has brought to our community. To continue building on this strong foundation, we are seeking new members to join our Board of Directors who will help guide and sustain our vision for the future.

We are looking for committed Catholics with experience in or deep understanding of the classical Catholic educational model. Ideal candidates will have professional experience and/or board service in one or more of the following areas:

Governance – Strategic planning, institutional oversight, nonprofit leadership

Finance – Budgeting, fundraising strategy, financial stewardship

Marketing and Enrollment – Messaging, branding, school growth strategy

Public Relations – Community outreach, donor relations, communications

While Board members in local proximity would be ideal, possibility of remote Board members would also be considered.

Board members serve as stewards of the school’s mission and help ensure its long-term viability and fidelity to its founding principles. This is a meaningful opportunity to help shape the next generation of Catholic leaders and support a vibrant school dedicated to truth, goodness, and beauty.
