Basic Job Description: Instruct children (ages 3-5) in activities designed to promote social, physical, spiritual and intellectual growth needed for primary school in preschool, day care center, or other child development facility. Preschool Teacher Responsibilities ●Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children andparents●Create activities that are fun and educational for the children●Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters anenvironment that is inviting and nurturing for every child●Deliver reports on potential concerns about students as to management asneeded●Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play,bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for studentsRequirements: Willingness to embrace values of Catholic Education and support the Mission and Philosophy of Notre Dame Elementary School ●Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.●Early childhood education experience is preferred.●Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing child care.●Excellent written and verbal communication skills.●Strong interpersonal skills.●Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.●Friendly and approachable demeanor.●Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.Applicants must have the following:
