Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time Level 1 catechist for our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. This program serves students in grades PreK – Grade 1 (Level 1) currently, with the intention of expanding to include Levels 2 and 3 in the future.
Candidates should be practicing Catholics and possess a familiarity with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd pedagogy (Level 1 training will be available this summer). A desire to share their faith through example and teaching, and the ability to see the potential in all students are a must. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are necessary. The candidate should also be willing to work collegially with faculty members and school leadership to explore effective and creative methods of instruction, assessment, and student support.
