Mary Seat of Wisdom Academy, a Catholic Classical High School, is seeking a Part-Time Mathematics teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year.
Mary Seat of Wisdom Academy is an independent Catholic classical high school in the city of Wichita, Kansas. About the Position:
Applicants will be teaching Sophomore and Junior level Algebra for the 25-26 school year. Ideal candidates are familiar with the necessities of teaching algebra, and have a classical understanding of the Liberal Arts, and the Quadrivium in particular. This position could grow into a full time position in subsequent years.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should be a practicing Catholic, and hold a bachelor’s level degree in Mathematics, or an equivalent field of study, or hold commensurate teaching experience. Experience with upper level Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus is preferred. The ability to develop in students basic and complex mathematical principles is necessary. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work in a collaborative faculty.
