Lumen Gentium Academy (Grades 9–12) and Our Lady of Mount Carmel School (PreK–8) form a thriving Catholic classical liberal arts educational community in Boonton, New Jersey. Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and committed to the renewal of Catholic education, we are seeking full-time and part-time teachers in the Humanities – including English, History, Latin, Drama, and Poetry – for middle and high school students.

Ideal candidates will:

Appreciate and support the liberal arts and Classical education
Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant subject area
Be faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church
Be lifelong learners and model that love of learning to their students
Have strong cross-disciplinary knowledge and teaching experience (highly desirable)
Bring creativity, initiative, and a desire to help build something lasting and beautiful
Experience in Classical instruction is a plus, but not required — an eagerness to inspire students and work collaboratively in a faithful and joyful environment is essential.
