Principal

The Position:

The Principal as a leader will represent the school, working closely with the President to ensure La Salle Academy maintains its strong Catholic identity.  Within this essential parameter, the Principal is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school.  Reporting directly to the President, the Principal works collaboratively as part of the President’s team to ensure the implementation of the strategic plan, which includes working to enhance and grow both existing and new academic and extracurricular programs to ensure La Salle is at the forefront of the needs of a 21st century education.

Candidate requirements and duties include:

–      Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church.

–      A minimum of a master’s degree and three to five years in administration in a Catholic school is preferred.

–      Work collaboratively with and provide a positive environment for all in the school community (students, parents, faculty, and staff).

–      Experience with / understanding and appreciation of the nuances of an all-boys education is preferred.

–      Overseeing and reviewing the School Office and staff, tracking academic performance of students, overseeing faculty development and evaluation, ensuring enforcement of all school policies and standards including student discipline and school safety and security

–      Managing the school’s reaccreditation process.

Start date is July 1, 2024
