Kingswood Academy, an independent Catholic School in Darien, is in search of 3rd Grade classroom teacher and a 5th Grade classroom teacher.
Our mission is to help parents be the primary educators of their children. Kingswood offers a rigorous, classically based education rooted in the Catholic faith.
Kingswood teaches students how to reason and think critically (no devices), exposes children to the greatest minds in Western thought and literature, teaches history chronologically, and emphasizes instruction through written and spoken words.
The job entails all the responsibilities of a classroom teacher including building relationships, planning, management, assessment, and so much more.
If you are interested in making a difference in the classroom and developing the Catholic Faith deeply in young Catholics, this is the teaching job for you. A teaching certificate is a bonus but not required.
