We have multiple openings and would consider hiring a group of teachers who are looking to start their careers in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Part-time positions may be combined into a full-time teaching position. We can offer low rent on our five-bedroom rectory, located adjacent to St. Barbara’s Catholic Church, as a benefit.
Pay: $18-20+/hour
Benefits: paid sick time, discounted tuition for children enrolled at Holy Spirit
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary: Completed or in the process of obtaining
Experience: Preferred
Practicing Catholic: Preferred
Qualifications-Ability to:
Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to identify students’ reading intervention needs.
Deliver targeted reading instruction based on identified needs.
Monitor student progress to ensure academic success
Demonstrate a passion for literacy development and student growth
Commit to supporting learners at all levels
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
