It is the mission of Fr. Vincent Capodanno high school, “to develop resilient leaders, armed with the clarity and courage to pursue God’s purpose for their lives.”  Fr. Vincent Capodanno High School, an independent, Catholic high school in the Sandhills region of North Carolina, seeks a dynamic teacher with a background in the liberal arts to teach theology. We seek a versatile teacher whose love of God and His Church is matched by a love of teaching and forming high school students in the Catholic faith.
The selected candidate will teach 9th-12th grade mathematics and oversee a homeroom which includes supervising Wednesday service class.
The ideal candidate will be a strong Catholic with a passion for communicating the truth as handed down by the Catholic Church. Classes to be taught may include: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Calculus
A bachelor’s degree or higher, and teaching experience is preferred. Exceptional candidates who are transitioning from other careers, or recent college graduates will also be considered. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, lesson planning, curriculum development and classroom management skills and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to teach and mentor students with broad learning abilities and profess fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

The position salary is based on experience.

Candidates who demonstrate an ability and willingness to take on coaching positions, club responsibilities or IT help will be given special consideration.
