Position Description:

As a Preschool teacher,  you will play a vital role in facilitating and supervising activities within the Epiphany Catholic Preschool Program. Working closely with our dedicated team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of engaging activities that align with our program’s mission and curriculum. As a preschool teacher, you will contribute to a classical, integrated curriculum informed by Montessori and Traditional pedagogy and principles. Your responsibilities will include assisting in our current classrooms, maintaining a clean environment, implementing a blended approach, and providing support within the classroom.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

·        Active, practicing Roman Catholic

·        Two-year post-secondary degree in a child-related field or CDA certification

·        1,040-2,080 hours of experience in a childcare setting

·        Knowledge of DHS Rule 3

·        Understanding of early childhood development and education

·        Willingness to learn and implement Montessori principles

·        Competence in planning and implementing activities for 3–to 5-year-olds

·        Positive classroom management skills

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

·        Respect for students, parents, and staff

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality

·        CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
