This is an exceptional and rare opportunity to lead and grow an existing network of 5 Catholic elementary schools using an innovative model of governance and management employed in various dioceses/archdioceses throughout the country. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the corporation, reporting to the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is ultimately responsible for setting and leading the strategic direction, oversight of the organizational budget; management of personnel; executing a development and advancement strategy, oversight of LCA’s educational outcomes, Catholic spiritual and faith direction for the network, and ongoing board development. The Executive Director must also champion a professional environment; focused on cultivating a strong leadership team and a committed staff/volunteer network. Over the next three to five years, the Executive Director, in consultation with the Diocese of Oakland and the LCA Board of Directors, is also expected to grow the network by adding elementary schools where there is alignment with LCA’s mission and governance model.
