Elementary Teachers

Christ the King School, in partnership with families, empowers children in a Catholic faith journey, promotes academic excellence, and inspires life-long service within a safe and loving parish community.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with autism, to promote effective learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.
• Utilize instruction strategies that engage students and promote their understanding and skills of the material.
• Support the development of children by incorporating activities that foster childhood development and growth.
• Utilize experience working with students to provide individualized support and guidance to help each student reach their full potential.

Skills:

• Practicing Catholic in full communion with the teachings of the Church
• Experience working with students, particularly those with autism or special needs
• Strong math skills to assist students with numerical concepts
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques
